Works great!!

I'm using this for making homemade tofu from scratch, and experimenting with various other legumes/nuts/seeds instead of soy. Just for fun, like Mary's Test Kitchen does. This is my first ever tofu press, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, I can say that it works great!! Our very first attempt (green split peas) worked flawlessly. It was really fun to watch the weight slowly sink down. The only tricky part is, your cheesecloth folding technique highly impacts how evenly your tofu gets formed! That's gotta be true of every tofu press though, not just this one. I do suspect that a weight has some advantages over a spring, specifically that the force applied by a spring will decrease over the pressing period, as the tofu gets squished further away from it. A weight's pressure stays constant. Attaching some pics of the delicious homemade fried peafu we made, breaded in its own okara.

Just great!

Just recently started pressing tofu. Who would’ve known that tofu needs to be pressed? I did shop around, but, I like a durable piece of equipment and certainly the stainless steel aspect won me over as well. I bought the little stainless steel dish to catch the juices, although not necessary as you can use a plate as well. I would highly recommend it, it performed as promised, it is very well-made. I know I’ll be using it for other things as well.

Beautiful and functional

Love my tofu press! I just recently started eating tofu and wanted a good press - one without plastic and quality made. The Ninja Press is great and as a small US business owner I especially like that it is made in the US by another small business.

The press looks great, is a solid build and is easy to clean/maintain. I expect this press to last a very long time - will look at getting one for my daughter this Christmas.

I love that there aren’t a lot of pieces, although I’d be back to purchase a matching drip pan if they ever make one;)

It's expensive, it's wonderful

It works wonderfully, it's lovely and it's certainly a "buy once for life" item. Heck it's going to be buy once for multiple generations.
